We're based in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the world's great centers of technological innovation, but our focus is empowering people - who don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on "geek gadgets" - to use low-tech mobile phones to access information when they're away from home or out of the office.
Phoniƒied is dedicated to providing an easy way for you to access the power of your Java enabled phone without becoming an expert in mobile data telecommunications software. After all, aren't cell phones supposed to be convenient?
Our CEO, Dr. James Storey, has more than 20 years experience developing applications for wireless carriers around the world and is using that expertise to help real people stay connected. A Chicago native, James spent more than 15 years with TCSI, a California-based telecom software company, before founding Phoniƒied. He earned his bachelor's degree from Cornell and his Ph.D. from Stanford.
